Hi friends. How on earth can it be March 1st already? Well March 1st means it's time for another release at Whimsy Stamps. I am loving the new Slimline Cloud die and have two cards using it today for you.
For my first card, I started by taking a piece of Yupo paper and some alcohol inks and created my "sky
background. I then die cut the Slimline Cloud die from white card stock and added it over top of my inked background.

I then stamped some balloons from the Happy Everything stamp set and cut them out. I stamped a sentiment from the Simple Sentiment Strips set onto the center cloud and then added my balloons.
For my second card, I took the same Slimline Cloud die but this time cut it out of some holographic paper. I also die cut it from white card stock and added the two together for added dimension. I adhered it to my aqua card base.
I then stamped, colored and cut out one of the cute images from the new Unicorn Magic set. I stamped a sentiment from the set along with the cluster of star images and this card is done.

That sure looks like a fun and versatile die. :) I really, really like the look you achieved with the alcohol inks. Feels like a really moody sky. Wonderful work there. I think using the holographic paper is a fabulous idea and it looks great, too. Thanks for sharing these terrific cards, Alanna. Crafty hugs! :)
