Thanks so Mush

Hi friends. I am super excited to share with you my card today featuring an awesome new die collection that is part of the latest release from Whimsy Stamps called Build a Fairy Garden. Before we get to my card, here is a quick look at the entire release which is full of so many wonderful products.

For my card today, I started by die cutting the various pieces of the mushrooms from smooth white card stock. I then added color with Distress inks to each of the sections. There are 3 sizes of mushrooms in the die collections and the smaller two each have three parts to the mushroom whereas the largest mushroom has four parts.

After my mushrooms were inked up and adhered together, I set them aside and got to work on my background. I started by taking a piece of blue card stock and added just a bit more shading onto it with some ink. I then took a piece of smooth white card stock and die cut it with the grass border die that is included in the Build a Fairy die collection.  I blended on two shades of Distress ink over top of it.

I die cut one of the fairies twice from white card stock and then added some sparkle pen over top of her. I then got to work on arranging my scene. I finished off my card by stamping my sentiment which is from the Gnome Matter What stamp set.

I just love how this card came out and can't wait to play with this die collection some more. All products are listed and linked below.

I also have some inspiration from the rest of the Creative team. There is so much talent on this team!

I appreciate you stopping by and am wishing you a great week. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Super "mushy" card, Alanna! I think it looks terrific. You did a great job on the mushrooms and that sweet little fairy looks cute on the edge of the one. It's a nice spring like scene. Much warmer looking than our recent mornings have been. Thanks for sharing. Crafty hugs!
