A fun new Slimline die from Whimsy Stamps

Tuesday, November 3, 2020

Hi friends. A great new mini release just hit the shop at Whimsy Stamps and I am in love with everything. There is an amazing new slimline die, which I'm using today, a gorgeous new stencil and paper collection and other fabulous stamps and dies.

For my card today, I am using the new Slimline Scenic Countryside die to create this fun card. I started by die cutting all of the pieces from white cardstock. I took the frame portion and inside portion of it and blended on Distress Oxide inks.

I then took all of the small die cuts and colored them. I then added small pieces of yellow cardstock behind each of the houses to add the lights.

I used the hill die included in the Slimline Scenic Countryside die collection and cut it twice. I stamped the sentiment from Penguins Winter Adventure set onto one of the pieces. I also added just a touch of Gina K Designs White Glitz Glitter Gel to my snowbanks.

I then started creating my scene adding all of the small pieces. I adhered the center panel onto my slimline card base. I then added the outer frame lifting it up with foam tape. I finished off the card by adding in snow with a white gel pen.

Here are some projects from the rest of the fabulous creative team. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day.
