Hi friends. I have a fun card to share with you today featuring the new Cute and Curvy set from Whimsy Stamps. This set is so much fun and has some great sentiments.
I wanted to create a beach scene for my cute girl to lay at. I started by taking the Making Waves stencil and inked it up a couple of times shifting it. I used a couple different colors of blue inks.
I then took the Sun Rays stencil and added in my sun rays. I didn't worry about masking off my ocean waves. After I had my rays added, I took a small blending brush and added in some of the same yellow ink for the actual sun.
I then got to work on my sandy portion of the beach. I added on some Old Paper Distress ink with a blending brush and then added some small dots in with a few different colors brown Copic markers.
I then added my image from the Cute and Curvy set that I colored and cut out.
I added her to the beach and then decided she needed a beach umbrella. I took the Build-an-Island die collection and used the beach umbrella and the cloud dies to finish off my scene.
I completed the card by stamping the sentiment which is from the Beach Retreat set.
