Hi friends! There's another new mini release at Whimsy Stamps. I am using two of the new products - the Dragon Water Fun clear set from illustrator Dustin Pike and the FaDoodles Frames Scalloped Rectangles die collection. I've paired them with some patterned paper from the Cosmic 6x6 paper collection that was released earlier this month.

Here is a look at the full release.

Okay, back to my card. I started by stamping the cute little dragon from the Dragon Water Fun set with the floatie onto a piece of white card stock. I then did some simple masking so I could stamp the water puddle so it looks like my little dragon is standing in this water puddle.

I colored my images imply with Copic markers. I then die cut the panel using the largest die from the new FaDoodles Frames Scalloped Rectangles die collection. I love the fun and uneven scalloped edges these dies have.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Dragon Water Fun set onto my panel and then popped this up onto my card base that I had previously adhered one of the patterned papers from the Cosmic 6x6 paper collection. I thought the green paper tied in nicely to the colors I used. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Dragon Water Fun set onto my panel and then popped this onto my card base using foam tape.

I finished off the card by adding 3 enamel hearts from this Doodlebug collection.

I hope you've been inspired today. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

What a fun card, Alanna! I adore that dragon wearing the bright pink floatie. So cute!! Great job masking and coloring. I like the bright green background paper, too. It helps him to pop. Such a great card! Made me smile. Thanks for sharing. Hugs!
