Hi friends and happy Friday. Whimsy Stamps is having small mini releases for the next couple of months and today, it's all about the dogs.
For my first card today, I used the new Paws and Bones Border die collection. This is such a great set of dies and not only does it cut out the cutest little borders but all of the inner pieces would be perfect for shaker cards.
I cut the bone image die out 4 times from my kraft card panel. I love the look this gives. I then backed some dark brown card stock behind my die cut panel.
I then stamped the cute little pup from the Caution Wagging Tail, added some simple shading with some grey Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut him out.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Caution Dog Slobber set onto a strip of white card stock. I popped it up with foam tape and added it to the center section of my card. I then added liquid glue just under the center section of the dog.
I finished off the card with some wooden enamel dots that I've had in my stash forever.
For my second card, I started by die cutting the paw and bone images from the new Puppy Paws die collection. I stacked them 4 high for added depth. I then stamped, colored and cut out the cute little pup from the Caution Dog Slobber set and coordinating dies.
On my card base, I took one of the papers from the new Pets Woof 6x6 paper collection and adhered it to my card base leaving a small border. I then adhered all my elements onto the card and my card is done.
Here are some projects from the whole Whimsy Stamps design team for even more inspiration.

What a fun pair of cards, Alanna. I like the bone background of the first and the paw print on the second, as well as the coloring of the funny pooch. Great job on both cards, my friend. Crafty hugs to you! Hope you are doing well.
