Easter Greetings

Monday, April 6, 2020

Hi friends and welcome back to my blog. I hope this finds you doing well.

I have a fun card today featuring products from Whimsy Stamps.  I started by taking the Pinwheels stencil and adding some Blue Topaz Nuvo Glimmer Paste over top of it.

I then took the Build-a-Basket die collection and die cut several of the pieces from it with white card stock. I then added color to each of the die cuts with various inks. I did my ink blending on top of my Waffle Flower Mini Water Media Mat. I love this so much as it grips the paper and makes it easier to ink the die cuts.

I arranged everything directly on top of my card base. The basket is popped up with foam tape and everything else is adhered directly to the card base.

I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment which is from the Happy Sayings set. I popped it up with foam tape, rounded the bottom 2 corners and this card is complete.

I hope you've been inspired today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Be well and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Wonderful card! The pinwheel stencil is really neat, Alanna. I love the look you created with it and the glimmer paste. You created a very sweet Easter basket. Great color choices. A bright and cheery Easter card for sure. Thanks so much for sharing! Crafty hugs!
