A Slimline Shaker Card for Whimsy Stamps

Tuesday, February 18, 2020

Hi friends. I hope your week is off to a great start.  My card today features only dies from Whimsy Stamps along with some gorgeous foil.

I started by die cutting some Therm O Web Toner sheets from the Slimline Scallop die. I then ran it through my Minc machine using the Summer Rainbow foil.

I added this to a piece of black card stock and then added this to my card base.  I then got to work on my heart shaker wells.

I used two of the dies from the Primitive Shaker Shapes die collection. I die cut three of the larger hearts with white card stock and then die cut three more hearts with the largest heart, although, this time, I ran it through with the smaller heart nested inside.

I used acetate and this foam tape that Whimsy Stamps sells to create my shaker hearts.  I love this foam tape as it is very narrow and also super thick. There is no need to double it up.
Here's a look that shows you the great dimension these give.

I couldn't come up with a great place for a sentiment so I just left it off.
Thanks for stopping by today. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

So fun, Alanna! I really like that rainbow foil you used. The hearts are pretty and I like the shaker bits. :)
