A Mother for Whimsy Stamps

Hi friends and welcome back to my blog today. For today's card, I am showcasing one of the latest stamp sets from Whimsy Stamps, Elegant Wood Frames.

When I first saw this set, I thought it would look great with a large sentiment inside of it, framing it up.

I started by stamping the large frame image from the Elegant Wood Frames set.  I then added just a bit of coloring to the leaves and branches.

I searched through my Whimsy Stamps stash and found the sentiment I used from the Mother Love set. I thought it was the perfect font and size for this card. BONUS - this set is retiring and is currently 50% off! 

I stamped it in pink ink and then die cut my stamped panel using the largest die from the Wavy Pierced Rectangles die collection.

I added foam tape to the back of my card panel and popped it up on a top folding bright pink card base.
