A Glittery Wintery Scene Slimline Card

Hi friends. I am back today with another card featuring goodies from Whimsy Stamps.  I made a Slimline card featuring lots of die cutting and no stamping.

Here's a closeup of part of my card so you can see the glittered trees and all of the different textures.

To make my card, I started by die cutting the Slimline Scallop die from some Holo Waves Mirror Card from Tonic Studios. I set aside the inside portions as I am not using them on my card today.

I also ran the same Slimline Scallop die my machine with some more specialty paper from Tonic Studios, this time the Midnight Sky Specialty Paper.  This time, I am just using the inside oval portions for this card. I love that I have all the components for another one of these slimline cards all ready to go for next time.

I then die cut several of the trees from the Evergreen Trees die collection using some Sugar Crystal Glitter Card, also from Tonic Studios.

I adhered everything to my card and some of the trees were popped up with foam tape.

I couldn't find a good place for a sentiment so I decided to just leave it off.

I hope you've been inspired. I'd love to hear below in the comment section if you have ever made a slimline card? They are so much fun to make and the newer Slimline dies from Whimsy Stamps make it even more fun.

Thanks for your visit. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

  1. This is lovely, Alanna. Don't you love Tonic Studio's specialty papers? I think they are neat, especially that holo stuff. Your card is so pretty with the trees and the specialty papers. I like the slimline look of cards, too. Thank you for sharing. Happy Weekend!! Crafty hugs!
