For my card today, I am featuring the uber fabulous Cardinal Seasons - Petal Pushers, both the stamps and the dies.

These dies are brilliant as they partially cut away some of the detail - such as the wing on the bird. Brilliant!

I started by stamping the cute little birds from the Cardinal Seasons - Petal Pushers stamp set along with the tree branch image for them to sit on.

I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I thought they would look nice against the woodgrain paper that is in the new Christmas Cottage paper collection. I die cut it with the largest die from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame die collection. I just love the detail it adds to the sides.

I glued the branch directly to the patterned paper and then added the birds with some foam tape, making sure to give the wing a bit of extra lift where it cuts out.

I then stamped the sentiment which is also from the Cardinal Seasons - Petal Pushers set and then die cut the top of it with the same die I used to cut the patterned paper so that it would match seamlessly.

Here's another look. I hope you've enjoyed my project today and have been inspired.

Hop along and leave a comment so you could win!

Wonderful card, Alanna. At first I wasn't sure how you got the two colored cardinals, but it looks like a 2 layer stamp. Such pretty colors you chose! The whole card is just wonderful. The pattern papers are so festive, too!
