Hi friends. I have a fun card to share with you featuring the super cute Spot On stamp set from the Polkadoodles lineup of stamps in the LDRS Creative store.
I just love how this set includes the large giraffe as well as just the peeking head giraffe with a mischievous look on her face.
I started by taking two of the dies from the fabulous Scalloped Rectangle Frame set and running them through my die cutting machine a total of 4 times. I did this so I could build up the outer frame portion a bit for added dimension. I adhered the 4 frames together and then set it aside.
Note that these two dies were still tabbed together in my set. If yours are de-tabbed, you could lay them out together getting the spacing right and then add some low tack tape and then run it through your die cutting machine.
I then got to work stamping out some of the images from the Spot On set using the Raven Hybrid ink. Did you know you can use this ink for many coloring mediums? Alcohol markers, watercolors, colored pencils?
My original plans for this card were a bit different so I stamped the images on a separate piece of card stock, colored them and then cut them out. In hind sight, I could have just stamped directly onto the inner portion of my frame that I had created.
After my images were colored, I stamped the sentiment which is also from the Spot On set. I just love this punny sentiment. I then adhered my images to my main panel.
After I had everything adhered, I realized that my giraffe head was just kind of hanging out in mid-air. So I decided to draw in just a bit of a neck for him. I took a black multi-liner pen that is safe for alcohol markers and just drew in the line for his neck. I then added in a couple of spots.
I then took a piece of some green striped paper from the Homemade Happiness 6x6 paper collection and trimmed it down so I had a small white border showing on all sides of my card. I then adhered the focal panel and then added the stacked frame around it.
Here's a final look at my card today. I'd love it if you left a comment mentioning what your favorite Polkadoodles image is. Crafty hugs!

Super cute card, Alanna. I really like how you created the scalloped frame piece. That giraffe is absolutely adorable. I don't know this line very well, so I would say any with this giraffe character would be a favorite. My older daughter loves giraffes! Hope you have a good week. Hugs!
