Happy New Years friends. I hope that 2019 is a wonderful year for each and every one of you. We are kicking the year off at Whimsy Stamps with a great new release, full of awesome stamps, dies and stencils.
I have two cards to share with you today, both using the Wonky Windows 1 die along with the You're too Kind stamp set. These were favorites of mine from the release.
For my first card, I started by die cutting the Wonky Windows 1 die and inking the outline portion of it. I then die cut it several more times out of white card stock.
I then got to work by adhering in one layer of each of the pieces. I then stamped my sentiment from the You're too Kind set for the first time. I then adhered another layer of each of the pieces. The photo below shows the layers added on just the right side at the moment.
I continued to add one additional layer and then stamping my sentiment. I did this 4 times.
Here's a final look at all the layers with the stamping complete and seamless throughout the design.
For my second card, I started by die cutting the Wonky Windows 1 die out of some white card stock. I then removed in the inner portions and used the outline as a stencil.
After removing the outer portion, I was left with the following. Note that the outer inked portion is what I used on my first card above.
I then spritzed my panel with some shimmer spritz to add some sparkle and shine.
I stamped the same sentiment as I did in my first card and this card is complete.
Here's a final look at both cards. I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Crafty hugs!
