A Blue & Silver Christmas with Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, December 12, 2018

Happy Wednesday friends. I am sharing a fun card for Whimsy Stamps today. I am using the following products from Whimsy Stamps today.

I started by heat embossing the Brushed Stripes Background using this embossing powder. The stripes in the background aren't perfect and that's the look I was going for.

I then die cut a few of the Elegant Snowflake dies out of this paper. It is so pretty IRL but unfortunately, I had a hard time capturing its beauty and color in my photos.

I adhered some of the snowflakes with foam tape and some were adhered directly to the card panel. I also made sure that some of them were hanging off the edge to help ground everything.

The last thing to do was to stamp a sentiment which I did using the Holiday Mini Sentiments stamp set. I love this set so much as there are so many great sentiments for the holidays and they are the perfect size when you just want to add something small.

The background is poor in this photo but you can see the truer color of what the snowflakes actually look like towards the bottom of this card.

Thanks so much for your visit. I hope you've left inspired. Crafty hugs!
