Paper Layering Sunflowers

Friday, September 14, 2018

Hi friends. I'm back today with a fun card featuring the gorgeous Paper Layering Sunflower dies from Hero Arts.

I started by die cutting the sunflowers, leaves and stem from white card stock. I then took some ink daubers and blended on some various Distress inks.

I stamped the sentiment from an old MFT stamp set and gave my sunflowers some lift and dimension by popping up their leaves just a bit. I love that the die creates this dimension for you.

Some kraft card stock and rounded corners and this fun fall card is complete.

Oh Golly, Alanna! The sunflowers are so lovely - they almost look real!!!! I like that the die makes the petals able to be 3D. Tell me how you did the stems?? Gold heat embossing? They are stunning!
Great card!!
