For my card today, I am working with the super adorable Hot Chocolate stamp set. The images in this set are just so cute. I decided to work with just the smaller images in the set and one of the sentiments to make my own custom background.
To start off, I adhered several of my images onto my Misti and inked them up with embossing ink and then before I would stamp additional images, I would sprinkle on the embossing powder so I could see where I had already stamped.
After my entire panel was inked, I took my heat gun to my panel and melted all the embossing powder.
TIP: Make sure your heat gun is already warmed up before you take it to your paper. You will get less warping.
TIP: Before you heat emboss the images, I like to tap the back of my panel with my finger which help removes any embossing powder that might be stray.
I then took two of LDRS Creative's Hybrid ink pads in Bali Blue and Plum Crazy along with some ink blending tools to add color to my heat embossed background.
And you guys, I have to tell you how awesome these inks blended. These were brand new foams on my inking tools and they took the ink so well and my blending was a breeze!
Here's another look at my card.
