Whimsy Stamps September Release Day

Thursday, September 7, 2017

Hi friends. It's release day at Whimsy Stamps and all the fun goodies we've been showing you over the past week are now available for purchase. Click here to go shopping. I also have picture links of all the new products that will take you directly to the store at the end of my post.

I have two cards to share with you today. For my first card, I used the beautiful new Falling Leaves stamp set to stamp my little scene. I love all of the fun images that are included in the stamp set.

On my second card, I used the Steps to Serenity set along with the new Gratitude Word Dies. I first started by stamping my trees in a row. I inked up the trunks and the leaves separate. For the leaves, I stamped each tree once with green ink. I then shifted the stamp over just ever so slightly and stamped the image again, this time adding just a touch of orange ink. I was trying to mimic more of a fall tree.

I then die cut the my panel with one of the dies from the Gratitude Word Die set. I then die cut it two more times and stacked the die cuts on top of each other.

Thanks so much for stopping by today friends. Crafty hugs!

Two beautiful fall scenes here, Alanna. You've definiately captured the essence of the season with the leaves that have fallen and the colors on the first card. I also like the colors in the second card and the way you added the gratitude die. Terrific work! Hope you have a lovely weekend. Our first home football game is tonight, so it's the band's first performance for the year. Whoo hooo! :) I've got two to watch in the band now.

Beautiful...love your gorgeous fall scenes! Those trees are just amazing and the sentiments as sweet as can be.
