Welcome friends. I have a birthday card to share today for TupeloDesignsLLC. I am using some fun products from MFT, one of my favorite stamp companies.
For today's card, I started by stamping the candles from MFT's Make a Wish stamp set towards the middle of my folded card base. I stamped them in a couple of different colors of Lawn Fawn inks, Mermaid and Peacock to give a bit of interest to the candles so that they weren't just a flat color although my blending wasn't that great. I then stamped the flames above them. I should mention that each of these stamps is just one stamp. Meaning, one stamp gets you all 5 candles and one stamp gets you all 5 of the flames. It makes it totally easy to have everything lined up.
After my stamping was done, I then die cut a piece of card stock using the Peek-a-boo Wonky Windows die from MFT. I stamped the sentiment from the same set I used above. I then added foam tape to the back of that piece after I ran it through my Big Shot with a stitching die. I then adhered it over my candles. I'm totally loving this card design and it would be so easy to make multiples of this card, especially using a stamp positioner tool.
Note that the store does have the coordinating dies for this stamp set although I didn't use them on today's card. You can find them here in case you're interested.

This card looks very cool, Alanna! I really like what you did with the two tone candles. So neat! That wonky frame die is fabulous. Sets off the candles wonderfully. The sentiment looks terrific in gray. Super job on this card! :)
I absolutely love this card design and especially that wonky window. It's so quirky. I love the huge stamp as well. I have a candle stamp set, but you have to stamp each individual element, which although it looks nice, it does take a bit of time to get right and lined up correctly. Xx
This is just one fabulous card Alanna, love those wonderful blue birthday candles, sweet card!
