Welcome to the final day of the November release for Clearly Whimsy Stamps. Today, I am showcasing the fabulous Grunge Snowflakes stamp set.
I have to tell you that in my head, this card looked a lot better than I think it turned out. My ink blending just wasn't working out for me but I'll tell you what I did any way.
I started by heat embossing in white the large tree from the Grunge Snowflakes set. I then die cut the panel with one of the Hand Stitched Rectangles Dies. I then added some green and yellow inks over the trees. I started on the inside of the tree and then worked my way out. I wanted a softer transition into the white.
I mounted this panel onto some of the Christmas Cheer patterned paper (currently on sale) that I cut with the largest of the Hand Stitched Rectangle dies.
I also decided to do the inside. I stamped the tree off the side of the card and then stamped the sentiment which is from the Scripty Occasions stamp set.
Alanna, your inking/blending is gorgeous for this lovely swiwrly snowflake tree and the paper you've paired it with! Classy and elegant! The stitched panel dies...oh my! Smitten!

Another wonderful Christmas Tree card - I love the colors and how the design paper reflects them. (or them reflect the design paper, maybe?) Great work!
ReplyDeleteThat stamp for the tree is stunning! Wow, and I really like your ink blending. The colors are lovely. The blending really helps the beautiful snowflake tree pop. I also really, really like the pattern paper you used. It fits so wonderfully. Beautiful card, Alanna! Hugs!
