DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC -- 2 Joy cards

Tuesday, August 30, 2016

I'm back today again for TupeloDesignsLLC and I'm still having fun using some other goodies from Concord & 9th. Remember that TupeloDesignsLLC has free shipping in the US with no minimum purchase required. Plus there is a great loyalty program that you can read all about here.

For today's cards, I am using the Joy stamp set and the Joy die, both from Concord & 9th.  For my first card, I am just using the stamp set. I started by stamping the line image in black ink. From there, I then stamped the large joy sentiment in Delicata gold ink. I then stamped the supporting sentiment over top that in black ink. Gold sequins and rounded corners finish up this super CAS card -- one that would be super easy to mass produce come Christmas time if needed.

For my second card, I wanted to show that you could use these products for a non-holiday card. I started by taking the line image from the Joy stamp set and I stamped it repeatedly in various colors of ink in rainbow order. After that was complete, I die cut the panel with the Joy die. I then die cut the joy die two more times out of plain white card stock. I stamped the black portion of the sentiment which can be found in the Joy stamp set. I then added back in all the layers of the joy die cuts.

Note:  Some products were provided by TupeloDesignsLLC; however, all opinions are my own

Both of these cards are awesome, Alanna! I really like how you showed the versatility of the stamps. I probably would have kept the joy as a Christmas card die. It looks great with the colored lines and the different sentiment. Awesome! The Christmas card version is beautiful with that gold ink and the gold sequins. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring. Oooh and how lucky that you got tickets to go to that Broncos game! I'm sure you had a blast. Amy and I were working Bingo. LOL :) Have a great day! Hugs!

Hi Alanna! I love these cards - the first one I will stash away for a "great idea" one day - I've never thought of putting a geometric (or linear) design over just a portion of a big sentiment and I really love how that looks! Cool cards!

Fabulous twofer! I love this you show how it can be used in different ways - I find I leave my Christmas stamps alone until Christmas card making time and really I shouldn't. I should look at them more and see how else I could use them :) xx
