Another Birthday? Piece of Cake

Saturday, February 6, 2016

So my fabulous friend Shannon wanted to get together and make cards and we decided on a birthday theme. I designed the card below and then we were able to make 24 of them in just under two hours. My Misti definitely helped the process of making that many multiples, especially with this cake image given that it has multiple steps. We first stamped the yellow cake portion. And then the icing and sentiment came, stamped in the same ink color.

I thought this would definitely work as a masculine birthday card so on some of them, we left the sequins off to make it a bit more suited for a gentleman.

Great job! I think you are super smart to make up so many. You won't be without a birthday card when you need one, that is for sure. And the design is great, too! Plus you had some fun times with a great friend. What a winning combination! :)

What a fab card! Definitely a great idea to do multiples, then you're never wanting when someone asks if you have a card spare!! Love the piece of cake - nice and simple. Xx
