Today, I am featuring the fun Christmas Background stamp set from Clearly Whimsy Stamps that was released last month as well as a sentiment from a new stamp set being released later this week. Be sure to stop back by on Wednesday for Day 1 of the October release.
Can you stand yet another card with distress inks and blending? I honestly cannot stop using them at the moment.
I started by taking a piece of water color card stock and blending on my Distress inks. I then spritzed some white distress stain on it and some Perfect Pearls spray. It's so shimmery IRL. After my panel was dry, I stamped the stars from the Christmas Background set a few times and then heat embossed my sentiment. The entire card panel is popped up on fun foam.
Here are the products I used today from Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

Wow, what a beautiful use of the inks. You can play with them all the time if you like. The results are so very pretty! :) So happy you are having fun with the inks. Great job on this card. Go Broncos!!
What a lovely Christmas card Alanna. I love your inked background and such a bonus that it will be easy and inexpensive to post!
I love seeing inky backgrounds - it gives me an incentive to try it myself. Love your card - love how the stars are dark in it too. Can you explain to me what IRL is? I've seen it used a few times but can't figure it out. Xx
