Yum, Yum, Yum for Clearly Whimsy Stamps May Release Day #2

Friday, May 15, 2015

Hi everyone and welcome to the Day 2 of the
Clearly Whimsy Stamps May 2015 release

We are releasing 4 new clear stamp sets and 7 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they are available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store RIGHT NOW and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers tomorrow!!

Today, I am featuring the super cute Yum, Yum, Yum stamp set and the standalone Ice Cream Cone die collection.

For my first card, I stamped the image several times across my card panel. I then paper pieced one of the ice creams. The cherry is colored with Copic markers. I then added some sprinkles on the chocolate scoop with my white Pico Embellisher. Some matching sequins finish off the card.

For my second card, I made a shaker card with the Ice Cream Cone die set. The sentiment comes from the Yum, Yum, Yum set. I added lots of sequins and am wishing that I would have glued down my ice cream scoops better so that the sequins didn't get stuck up there.

RIZE ALERT ... We have hidden a fabulous prize of a $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE at one of the stops on today’s hop! We will draw the lucky winner from the comments left here and on today’s design team posts (listed below), so be sure to visit everyone and leave a comment to be entered into the draw.

Ohhhh how fun! I really like how you stamped the first one and paper pieced. Sure allows it to pop. The sequins allow for a great extra pop of color and sparkle. The second card being a shaker is so fun. The sequins make me think of sprinkles. Such a neat idea for a shaker. Great job on both cards!

Beautiful designs. And I agree that the stuck sequins look like sprinkles...so it works.
