Christmas Card Challenge #37

Sunday, August 10, 2014

There's a color inspiration challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges. You don't have to use all of the colors in the photo if you choose to use it. If you don't choose to use the photo, you can still play along with us. Just make a holiday or Christmas card.

Here's how I was inspired. I masked off the trees and then decided to go a bit crazy with the sequins. But I thought that they might pass as falling snow?

It works for me that the sequins are falling snow. I'm amazed at your patience to put them on the card, actually! :) This is a very pretty card. I like the tree image and how you placed the sentiment part way over the trees. Very pretty!

I love the woodgrain embossing behind your tree scene, Alanna! And you can never have too many sequins on a Christmas card - that's a RULE!! Hugs, Darnell

I love the way you sprinkled the sequins over the card and they really do work as snow IMHO! Lovely design and I love the crisp sentiment.
Hope all goes well next weekend - I'll be thinking of you.
