Christmas Card Challenges #11 -- Blue and Silver

Sunday, February 9, 2014

I'm happy to have another friend as a new follower to the blog here.  Jill from Greenwood Girl Cards. Jill has been blogging since 2010 and makes the most beautiful shabby chic cards - a style that I just can't seem to do. If you haven't been to her blog, head on over as you are in for a treat.

Now onto today's card. I've got a CAS Christmas card  for the current challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. This week, in addition to making a holiday or Christmas card, the optional challenge is a color challenge: Blue and silver.

I used some shimmer card stock from PTI for both my card base and the snowflake. It's hard to capture the beauty and shimmer but it's there and it's beautiful.

The other designers have some gorgeous cards this week so make sure to check out the challenge blog here to see them and to enter your Christmas or holiday card for the week.
