Well today is my 40th birthday. I'm trying to have a positive attitude about the whole thing. It's not really that I mind being 40 but with each passing birthday, time seems to speed up and this life is passing me by much too quickly.
It's time for this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and the theme this week is anything goes.
***Supplies***Supplies not linked: Washi tape and gemstones from my stash
There are a lot of great cards over at the challenge blog so be sure and check them out here. Take care!

Happy Birthday Alanna! Love your card so clean, simple and stunning! Hugs x
Happy Birthday, Alanna!! Look at the 40s being your most fabulous years and get the most out of them! Your kids are getting old enough to take care of themselves and that should give you a little more time to do what you want to do. I hope you embrace this time! Your card is so striking with the pattern on the washi (I don't own a single roll myself) and the pink adds a wonderful pop of color. Hope you enjoy your special day.
Happy Birthday, Alanna. Don't fret about turning 40--it is the new 30. So, you have time!! I will tell you that I am still older than you by a lot, so to me you are young. This is a fab holiday card--I love the non-traditional colors.
40 is one of the good ones! You should smile and remember all of us really old ones who would love to look like they were 40 again! Happy birthday...hope it is a very happy day!
This looks fabulous, Alanna!
Oh happy birthday Alanna! 40's are wonderful! I'm well into mine and I'm happier than I've ever been :) Your card is lovely too! I love the non traditional colors!
Oh, sugar, in so many ways, it gets SO much better! Happy Belated Birthday, Alanna!!
