I'm so pleased to have Joni from Papell with Love as a new follower. If you are unfamiliar with her work, you must pay her a visit as she has some fabulous cards to share.
I found this patterned paper in a Basic Grey pad and fell in love. I wanted to showcase this piece without having too much detract from it so I added some flowers from Rosie Posie and a sentiment and called it good. This was also my first time playing with the additions set to Rosie Posie. I really love the dimension that detail gives to the flowers.
I shrunk my card base down just a bit so that I could have the flower hang off the edge but still have the card fit inside a regular A2 envelope.

Well, it is officially only 1 week until Christmas Eve. Only today and 3 more days of work until break! I'm so excited to have time off to spend with the family enjoying the Christmas season.

Wow, that's a really neat piece of paper, Alanna. It looks to me like you cut out and put each of those strips onto the background. Very cool. I like the idea to make the base a little smaller to accomodate a focal piece coming off the edge. I will definitely have to remember that. Terrific work, Alanna!
This is so pretty! Love the colors!
Oh, this is beautiful, Alanna!
Oh Alanna this is gorgeous!
Oh wow!! This is stunning Alanna!! The colors, the papers and that flower are all gorgeous!! I love the idea of shrinking the card so that you can have elements off the side! Must remember that!
Your card is Beautiful Alana! I just want to say thank you for the shout out! You are so sweet <3 Hugs!
Lovely card, Alanna. The white in your flowers and leaves looks so pretty in contrast to your tapes and papers! hugs, de
