Sparkle Christmas Card Challenge #20 --- My first time using a Digi Image

Sunday, April 18, 2010

Happy Sunday to you all.  It's time for another challenge from Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenges.  Say that 5 times fast.  LOL.  Anyway, the challenge this week is to use a digi image.  Can you believe this is the very first time I've used one?  I'm not sure why I haven't done it before.  I think I was intimidated.  It was really easy and I love that you can resize the images in whatever size you need.

My card is also for these challenges.
Pixie Cottage--buttons
Fab's Big Christmas Cards Challenge--Christmas
Little Red Wagon -- dry embossing
Corrosive Challenges -- texture
Cute Card Thursday -- touchy feely
Paper Sundaes -- no people

***Supplies***
Stamps:  Pink Cat Studio Hootie Owl, PTI Signature Christmas

Other:  Cuttlebug, PTI buttons, liquid applique

Make sure and head over to the challenge blog to see what the other design team members came up with.  You're going to love their cards.  I hope you'll play along with us.  You won't be sorry that you started your Christmas cards early.

This is one cute owl, Alanna! You did great using a digi image for the first time. Would love to know where you found this cutie.

I really like your embossed background, too.

Terrific card!

I've stayed away from digi's too! One of these days I'll have to give them a try (but I'm a little afraid I'll get hooked!)
