Swirls and Pearls with a new challenge site

I found a new challenge site this week while blurfing, Crazy 4 Challenges. I combined the sketch with the challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges, which is to use swirls and pearls. I decided to do something which I rarely do, which is to use my cricut for a card. I chose the flower from Accent Essentials that cuts out multiple layers. I cut the same flower twice, once in white and then once in black cardstock and then just layered the flower. After I glued it down, of course, I was thinking that it would have been cool to add some texture to the white parts of the flower with my cuttlebug. Oh well. Hindsight is 20-20, right? My card size is 6x6.

Gorgeous Alanna! Lovely paper and sketch...your flowers turned out perfect and I love those pearls! Reminds me I should use my Cricut more often as well!
Excellent card, Alanna! I'm loving how using the Cricut for making cards is gaining some momentum as it gives me ideas for using mine.
