Celebrating 300 posts

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED---I'LL BE BACK LATER WITH THE WINNER!

This is my 300th post and I'm also nearing 15,000 hits so I thought I'd celebrate with some blog candy. We all love candy, right? I love actual candy as well but what I'm going to offer shouldn't put any extra pounds on our hips and thighs.

Okay, here's what you need to do. First, comment on this post answering the following question. How long have you been paper crafting and what do you like the best--cardmaking or scrapbooking? Second, spread the word on your blog, if you have one. If not, word of mouth is fabulous. Third, check back on 8/18/09 to see if you won. Easy peasy, right?

Now, onto the goodies. Here's what's up for grabs.

2 unmounted rubber stamp sets by Amy R --Love Sentiments & Wedding
1 jar lime green Prima flowers

2 packages of Prima Fancystix flowers
Rob & Bob Clipease Dispenser and refills
Stampin Up Magic Mesh
K&Company adhesive ribbon
Brilliance Platinum Planet ink pad

Paper Studio Chipboard shapes
CTMH adhesive rhinestone flowers

For every 25 comments, I'll add extra goodies. Thanks to everyone for making blogging so much fun.

Congrats Alanna!!!!
I will post this on my sidebar for sure.
I have been papercrafting for nearly 2 years..
I am definitely a card maker more than a scrapper!

Congrats Alanna!! Awesome blog candy!
I've been papercrafting for about 7years now - my very first project was a scrapbook of our honeymoon. My favourite is probably cardmaking. Because I usually only have short periods of time to sit in my craft room - much easier to sit & do a card than to start a scrapbook page & then have to keep coming back to it.
Off to link to your candy on my blog. . .

I deleted my first post because I can't follow directions ...

Let me try again.

Alanna, congrats on the 300th post and all those hits!

I've been a papercrafter since 2002 as a scrapbooker, but entered (jumped) into the world of cardmaking within the past year.

Thanks for taking the time to pop over onto my blog and leaving comments which make me smile!

Me loves the blog candy!

Yummy candy :)

I've posted a link in my sidebar.

I've been paper crafting since I attended a CTMH gathering in early November 2008, and I purchased my consultant kit on Nov 30... lol. Yes I was hooked after one gathering. We made a sort of brag book photo album type thing and I was amazed at the how to programs. I'd say I'm a scrapbooker, I'm trying to scrap my kids entire lives.... lol. But lately I have gotten into cards and other things and only work on the scrapbook occasionally.

Congratulations on your blog! I love both scrapping & card making as a newbie to both (10 months). I tend to favor card making, however, since it goes faster for me :)

Unknown said...

I've been paper crafting for about 10+ years I guess. I liked stamping in high school, but I had NO idea what I was doing. A cousin taught me how to scrap in college, but I haven't done that recently so I'd go with cards. I'll get a post up on my blog asap. Congrats on 300 posts!

Laurel said...

Congrats Alanna! I've got you linked on my blog!

Laurel said...

Oops, like Kim I forgot to answer the question. I've been scrapping for about 10 years.

Alanna, I have been scrapping since 6/16/07 when I went to a CTMH gathering and fell in love. I do more card making than scrapping. I am looking forward to Studio J when it is released. I saw your daughter's comment on Karen Pederson's blog and checked out her blog and left her a comment. You have a budding paper crafter there!

Christina said...

Ok, so I've been paper crafting for about 7 years with a little break in the middle. I used to only scrapbook but once I became a CTMH consultant in February of this year I started making cards and that has become my favorite thing to do!

Secondly, I left you something on my blog!!!

Ok, now I'm off to share the news about your blog candy! HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!

Wendy K. said...

Congrats Alanna! I would say scrapbooking is my favorite but it is nice to take a break to make some cards as well because they tend to be quicker. I've added a post on my blog for you as well!

Thats great on all the hits!!! WOW
First time stopper by, so I am excited to check it all out.

I have been doing the scrapbook thing for about 10 years but I LOVE cardmaking!!!!!

Congratulations! I'll glad spread the word on my blog brightscrapper.blogspot.com. To answer your question, I started scrapbooking in 1998 after visiting England for the 1st time. At this point, I'm not sure if I prefer cardmaking or scrapbooking! As long as I'm getting glue and ink on my fingers and clothes, I'm happy!

Jennifer said...

Congratulations!I have been scrapbooking and stamping for 10 years now-wow just realized that! I enjoy scrapbooking more but find myself making more cards that pages, lol.

I'll post on my blog...although I don't many visitors :(

Congrats Alana! I have been crafting for over ten years but only the last 3 have been "serious" paper crafting. 3 years ago I took cardmaking classes and just this last year started scrapbooking. I would say I love them equally! I don't have a blog so I will spread the word with my friends from Fiskateers.

Congrats Alanna, what great candy! I've been papercrafting in some form for over 10 years, but "real scrapbooking" for the past 5 or so. I've only started making cards in the last year, but it is so addicting! Scrapbooking is still my "thing" though :) I'll post a link on my blog!

Alanna Congratulations and I love the fact that you are such a joy to follow. I have been a follower of yours for sometime. I just love it.

I love to make cards for the faster way they come together, but a close second is scrapbooking because I love the pictures and stories on each layout...even if no words are said the pictures say it all.

Thought you would like to see my bragging on you. Iona

Congratulations, Alanna!!!

I started scrapbooking almost 5 years ago but got into card making after I went to a CTMH card workshop last November ... and I must admit that I'm loving it more than scrapbooking.

Wow, congrats on such a successful blog! I really enjoy your blog but don't always have time to comment. I look forward to all your future creations! To answer your question, I have been paper crafting probably since I was 4 or 5 since my mom was so crafty and we were always doing something new. But seriously, I started scrapbooking over 10 years ago and it's still my favorite, though now it's harder to find the time and I've done more cards lately.

Keep up the great work and thanks for all you share!

Awesome giveaway!! Congrats on all your posts!! I have been papercrafting for 6 years and I am totally addicted. I don't think that I like either one more than the other, although with my little ones, it is easier to get time to create a card than to sit down and get some scrapbooking done. I have added a link to your blog candy on my blog's sidebar HERE.

I started scrapbooking about seven years ago by doing a memory album of my dad for my brothers. Cardmaking came naturally from that. Why I love it...It is a stress reliever for one. I also teach special needs children (my son is one) to scrapbook. Nothing can compare to the light in the eyes of a child when they've created their page! There are so many skills that they work on..hand eye co-ordination, motor skills etc. So rewarding. I don't have a blog, however I have many friends....

Awesome! To answer your question, I started scrapping in the late 80s and stamping back in the early 90s, but then took several years off until I had my first child in 2004. No blog of my own, but I'll spread the word about your blog.
