Sorry I've been MIA with some art lately. I've been feeling very sluggish and drained. Devin had a sleep study last night so I decided to go and make a card while he was out.

I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches along with a new challenge I found this last week over at Jazzy Inspirations, which was to use teal, white, and black. My card is also for Sparkle's weekly Christmas card challenge.

For the large black mat, I originally had it plain and decided that it needed something. That's when I remembered my snoflake embossing folder. Yeah! Also, it's hard to tell but I used lots of Stickles to bling my snowflake up. My card size is 5x5. I've really been loving square cards lately. I'm not sure why, just have.

***Supplies*** Cardstock: CTMH Ocean, Black, White Daisy
Stamps: CTMH Snow Friends, So Sweet Seasons
Other: Cuttlebug, Nesties, CTMH white daisy grosgrain ribbon, Marvy snowflake punch, Stickles, CTMH marker

Thanks for your visit today. Have a terrific Tuesday.

Fabulous work--I never would've thought to use a snowflake embossing folder on anything but white, but I love the look you created. Thanks for being Unscripted!

What a striking card Alanna! I love it! I know what you mean about card designs. I go through stages, too!!! It's ok - just go with it!

Great card, Alanna! Love the colors and the textures you added.

I like the look of square cards, but then don't like trying to mail them out, so I tend to shy away from them, even though they are very appealing!

Hope Devin's sleep study went well and that you are able to rest up and feel much better soon. Wonder if our wonky weather has anything to do with it?

Take care!!
