Christopher reading Horton

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

A few months back, I posted some of these pictures that I snapped of Christopher when I found him nestled in on the top bunk, reading "Horton Hatches the Egg". What a delightful book and one that I'll always love. Here's one of the spreads that I was able to come up last Saturday.
***Supplies***
Patterened Paper: Paper Studio
Other: Vellum, CTMH buttons and waxy flax

You can click on the picture to make it bigger and read my journaling, if you would like. See you tomorrow.

Fantastic post! Love that you captured your son reading a treasured story and the story behind it! Love that photo with his mouth open as well. Wouldn't you just LOVE to know what he was thinking and seeing? Maybe not, as part of the fun of the photo is the wonder he shows.

Did you see that huge tornado they talked about on the news...it was way out east, I think and some guy caught it from beginning to end. Very scary looking, but thankfully only one structure was lost and maybe a goat, from what I heard. It even made the national news! Yikes!

And you know for sure...when it gets hot, people will complain about the heat. LOL

Hey Alanna - in response to your question - a "Chartered Accountant" is the Canadian equivalent of the US C.P.A.
I used to work for Ernst & Young (before my kids!).
