A simple card for 2 challenges
Saturday, April 4, 2009
So I woke up just after 6 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. How annoying. The only day of the week where I have a chance of sleeping in and I can't. I guess I've trained my body too well. So, that being said, I decided to go down to my craft area while everyone else was sleeping. I made this card, which is for Taylor's weekly sketch. I also found a new blog, where Kristina offers a color challenge each week.
There's nothing too spectacular about my card. Not even one embellishment. Maybe due to the fact that it was before 7 am. Paper is from my stash, Cloud 9, I think, which I immediately thought of when I saw the colors Kristina picked for the week. The sentiment is from CTMH's For any Occasion stamp set.
I've got a couple of errands to run and then I plan on holing up in my bedroom and hitting the books hard. My next test is in just over 2 weeks. YIKES. I am feeling okay about it so far because I was able to understand a large concept that had previously escaped me last weekend during my study time. I feel like I will have a much better grasp of the content material for this particular area. Hopefully, it's not just wishful thinking.
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and maybe you could even go outside. We've got snow here and cold temps. Oh well. I guess if it were nice outside, it would make it harder for me to stay inside studying. Okay, now that I've babbled, see you later.

I love your card and your blog page. This is my first week of having a blog. How did you get all the neat art work on the sides and top of your blog page?
