Happy Birthday featuring Avery Elle Stamps

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

Hi friends. So happy you stopped by today. I've got a fun card using some NBUS stamps from Avery Elle and MFT.

Look at the coverage I was able to get on those large solid stamps -- a big thanks to my MISTI.  I was also able to ink my background stamp easily to get a gradient look with my inks. I started by inking just the lower portion of the stamp with the lighter orange ink. With my MISTI, I was then able to ink up the top with the darker orange ink.

If you haven't heard about this tool, run now to order one (linked below). Trust me, you are going to want one of these tools.

As always, I truly appreciate you stopping my spot in the world. Crafty hugs for a wonderful day.

Wow, this card looks fabulous. I do like the coverage you got on your balloon stamps. The background with the different colors looks wonderful, too. That Misti looks intriguing, but that seems like a lot of money for what looks like a fancy positioner. I'm obviously not quite getting the concept yet. (not a surprise) :) I've heard people talk about wanting it, so it must be pretty neat. Glad you got one and like it!

I love it, Alanna, great colour combination! I've never heard about the Misti, no idea how it works :) , but the balloons look great!

This card is amazing. I have those balloons, and hardly ever use them because I have never gotten as good results as you have here. Fabulous, and I really love your warm color scheme.
