Happy Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 28, 2013

First off, happy Thanksgiving to my US friends and anyone else celebrating the day.

So I recently became acquainted with Darnell's wonderful blog and I love how she welcomes any new followers in her blog posts so I thought I'd do the same. I'm sure I won't have to do this nearly as often as she does, though.

Any way, please welcome Angie from I would rather be Stamping.  Her blog is full of fabulous cards and projects. I've taken a peek back at the last few pages and am in awe.

Now onto today's card.  I've got a CAS card for you today featuring the Amber Waves set from CAS-ual Friday Stamps. I have to tell you how beautifully these stamps inked up. There was no conditioning needed at all.

As I've done with many of my cards lately, I've added some score lines for added interest.

I'm off today and tomorrow and will be doing some shopping later tonight and tomorrow. The countdown to Christmas is officially on! I hope that whatever you do this weekend that you find much joy and happiness.

Sweet! I really do like the look of the embossed lines on your cards, Alanna. It adds just the right oomph to the card. (Gotta remember that when making my own cards).

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Happy shopping, too! At least our weather should be conducive to enjoying the day, right?
