Red, White, and Blue

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

I chose to use this weeks sketch from Unscripted Sketches for this card. My card fits these challenges: Kelly Jo's Color Chef Challenge #12 , OCC's challenge for the week, 2Red Banana's weekly challenge, and 365 cards. I also found a new challenge blog called Creative Belli. All of these challenges included using red, white and blue and/or making something patriotic. At ABC Challenge, this week is U for United States. Wow, did I just get 7 challenges in on the same card?

When looking at my stamp set, I decided that the images would look good randomly put onto a block and then just stamped. I love the effect and want to see what other stamp sets I have that this technique would work on. It didn't photograph but I did add some prisma glitter on the stars of the freedom stamp. ***Supplies***
Stamps: CTMH Independence Day
Other: Cuttlebug, CTMH white daisy grosgrain ribbon and prisma glitter
