Hello friends and welcome back. I'm excited to share with you projects featuring the August 2023 glimmer hot foil club kit from Spellbinders. This month's kit is so beautiful. I love the large floral image glimmer plate. And as an added bonus, there are coordinating stencils available separately for purchase to help color in the image.
My first card is a 5x7 card and I started by embossing a piece of white card stock using the Leafy 3D embossing folder. I trimmed it down and added it a coral note card.
I then glimmered the August 2023 glimmer club kit onto a piece of smooth white card stock using gold foil. I took the coordinating stencils and blended ink over top. I die cut this panel using the largest die from the Essential Stylish Ovals die set. I finished off the card by adding in a foiled sentiment from the Must Have Sentiments hot foil plate and die set along with adding some gems in a few places.
For my next set of cards, I took the negative pieces of foil and foiled them leaving this fun look. I cut them out from one of the dies from the Essential Arches die set. I embossed two pieces of white card stock using the August 2023 embossing folder and then added them to pieces of black card stock leaving a thin border. These were then added to white A2 notecards. Foiled sentiments from the same Must Have Sentiments set I used for my first card were added along with gems to finish off these cards.
