Hello friends and welcome back to my blog. I have two cards to share with you today using the May 2023 3D embossing folder club kit from Spellbinders. These embossing folders are amazing, and they are generously sized to fit a 5x7 card, a slimline card, or almost anything. And at just $15 which includes shipping in the US, it's a bargain for sure.
For my first card, I took the new May 2023 3D embossing folder and ran it through my Platinum die cutting machine with just white card stock. I then took a coral colored ink pad and added ink over top of the raised areas. I love how this turned out and how some areas are lighter or darker than others.
I trimmed the panel down and added it to a piece of black card stock, leaving a thin border on all sides. I then added it to a white A2 notecard. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment which is from the It's Party Time, also from Spellbinders.
For my second card, I took a piece of purple card stock and embossed it using the same May 2023 3D embossing folder of the month. This time, I added white pigment ink on top of the raised areas. I trimmed the panel down, again added it to some black card stock and then added it to a white slimline notecard. I stamped the same sentiment from the It's Party Time set into the open area and then decided to add a few die cut balloons. They are from the May 2023 large die of the month club kit, which pairs perfectly with this embossing folder.
I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Adding inks to the raised part of the embossing is a sure fire way to add even more interest to the card. These look fantastic, Alanna. Thanks for sharing!
