Whimsy Stamps new Release & 2 Military Cards

Monday, April 3, 2023

Hi friends and happy Monday! Whimsy Stamps had a new release that just dropped in the store a couple of days ago and it's a special one as it's dedicated to military heroes and sheroes, both those serving now and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

I have two cards to share with you today using some of these new products. For my first card, I started by using the Twinkle stencil and I stenciled blue ink directly onto an A2 white note card. I then took the new Military Sheroes die set and die cut the elements from blue, red, and white card stock. I adhered everything together and also die cut two more of the silhouette figures for added dimension. Before I adhered this to my card, I stamped two of the sentiments from the Military Sheroes stamp set.

I added my die cut element and then rounded the bottom two corners and that completes this card.

For my second card, I created another die cut element just like I did on my first card using the Military Sheroes die set. I then took one of the patterned papers from the new Slimline Military paper collection and trimmed it down slightly. I matted it onto some red card stock and then stamped one of the sentiments from the Poppy Remembrance set.

I added my die cut element to the card and that finishes off card #2.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
