Whimsy Stamps New Release & Inspiration

Hi friends and welcome back! I have a fun slimline card to share with you today featuring a super cute new stamp set, Lady Buggies, from today's release at Whimsy Stamps. The images in this set along with the sentiments are just so cute.

To get started, I took the previously released Slimline Meadow die and die cut it two times, once from a light blue card stock and once from green card stock. On the blue portion, I took the It's Cloudy stencil and blended on some clouds using white pigment ink. I also tamped a couple of the image from the Lady Buggies set directly onto the blue background and then I colored them very simply with Copic markers.

I adhered both pieces of the Slimline Meadow back together and adhered it to a slimline notecard that measures 3.5x8.5 inches.

I then stamped two of the images from the Lady Buggies set, colored them, and then used my Scan n' Cut to gut them out. I tucked one of the images into the hill portion and then after I figured out where I wanted my second image to go, I stamped the sentiment which is part of the Lady Buggies set. I added the second image just on top of the sentiment with some thin foam squares.

I then decided that my card needed just a little something extra, so I die cut the small stem and floral dies that are part of the Slimline Meadow die set. I die cut them from white card stock and then added in some simple coloring. I tucked these into the bottom portion of the card and that completes the card.
