Whimsy Stamps Inspiration - 2 Cards

Wednesday, March 8, 2023

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today using the new Gerbera Daisies Vase stamp that was released last week from Whimsy Stamps.

For my first card, I started by taking the Dotty 6x9 stencil and I blended on yellow ink onto a panel that I had die cut using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set. I then stamped the Gerbera Daisies Vase image directly over top of my stenciled panel. And then this is where my card took a turn. I had done some grounding of my image with some grey Copic markers, but it went awry. :)  So, to salvage my card, I took my T-square ruler and colored in the countertop/table with a brown Copic marker.

I stamped the sentiment which is from the Distant Friends stamp set and then added foam tape to the back of the panel and added it to my white A2 notecard.

For my second card, I took the Gerbera Daisies Vase stamp and stamped it directly onto a piece of patterned paper from the Bizzy Bees 6x6 paper collection. I then took another piece of patterned paper from the same collection and added it to a yellow A2 notecard. I then added my stamped panel over top of it layering the panels.

I stamped my sentiment using the same stamp from my first card and then decided to round the corners on the right side and that completes this card.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
