Hi friends. I have a pair of cards to share with you today featuring the gorgeous Nordic Ornaments die set from Spellbinders. This die set is part of the Winter Tales collection.
To get started, I took the new Ski Lodge embossing folder and embossed two pieces of navy card stock using it. I then added some white paint splatters onto the backgrounds. After they were dry, I trimmed the panels down and added them to silver shimmer card stock card bases.
I then took the larger ornament die from the Nordic Ornaments die set and die cut it two times from the same navy card stock as well as a deep red card stock. I adhered my ornaments together and added foam tape behind the detail portion. I die cut the ornament toppers from some silver mirror card stock.
I added my ornaments with some silver thread that I tucked behind the card panel and finished off the cards with foiled sentiments which are from the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips hot foil plate set.
