Spellbinders Winter Garden and Glimmer Greetings Collections - 3 Cards

Friday, September 16, 2022

Hello friends and welcome back. I hope your week has been a great one.  I have three Christmas/winter cards to share with you today, all using newer dies and foil plates from Spellbinders.

For my first card, I am using the awesome Plaid Tidings Background glimmer plate and the new Ice Skate die. I foiled the Plaid Tidings Background glimmer plate in rainbow foil and added it to a piece of black card stock for a mat. I then added this to a white A2 notecard. I then die cut the Ice Skate die 3 times from white card stock and adhered them all together.

I took some Copic markers and added just a bit of coloring. I finished off the card by adding in a foiled sentiment along with some white pearls.

My second card also uses the Ice Skate die but this time, I've used the new Crossed Lines Cardfront glimmer plate for the background. This is such a fun plate and definitely my favorite from the release. I die cut the Ice Skate die a total of 4 times and glued 2 die cuts together.

I added these to my foiled background and finished the card with a foiled sentiment. It was at this point that I decided my card needed just a bit of something else so I took my Tonic Shimmer pen and added lots of sparkle to the ice skates.

For my last card, I started by foiling the Flourished Tree glimmer plate onto some smooth white card stock.

I then die cut it using one of the dies from the Essential Arches die set. I then took another piece of white card stock and embossed it using the Puff Dotty 3D embossing folder. After it was embossed, I die cut it using the largest die from the Essential Arches die set

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
