Hi friends. I'm back today with another card featuring new stamps and dies from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps. For my card today, I am using the Paint Brush Strokes stamp set and the Paint and Palette die set.
To get started, I stamped my background using most of the images from the Paint Brush Strokes set in 3 shades of blue/aqua inks. I then took some black acrylic paint and splattered my background using it. Once it was dry, I die cut it using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set.
I then added it to a black piece of card stock leaving a thin border and then adhered it to an A2 white notecard. I then took the Paint and Palette die set and die cut the pallet from some white woodgrain card stock. I die cut the 3 paint splotches 2 times each and then added the same shades of ink to them that I used for my background.
I then put together one of the paintbrushes with the die components from the Paint and Palette die set. I stamped a sentiment from the Dudley Art set and then added foam tape to the back of my palette and added it to the card.
