Hi friends and welcome back. This is my second post today. Click here or scroll down to see more card inspiration from earlier today. I mentioned when the new Butterflies hot foil plates came out from Whimsy Stamps a few weeks ago that I foiled lots of them. Well today, I have two slimline cards to share with you using them.
For the first card, I started by taking a piece of patterned paper from the amazing Slimline Rainbow Magic paper pack and I trimmed it down and matted it on some black card stock. My slimline card base measures 3.5x 8.5 inches. I stamped my sentiments into the center of the panel which are from the Flower Wishes stamp set.
I then added 4 butterflies onto my card using the Butterflies hot foil plates and the coordinating dies. I used some fun foils for these butterflies and love how they look on both black and white card stocks. I finished off the card by adding some clear heart gems.
For my second card, I started by embossing a piece of white card stock using the Slimline Sweater embossing folder. I trimmed it down and added it to a slimline white card base. I then took 3 of the large foiled butterflies, made using the Butterflies hot foil plates and the coordinating dies and added them to additional white butterfly die cuts for extra dimension. I added the butterflies to the card and then added a stamped sentiment which is from the Butterflies stamp set. Some white pearls finish off the card.
