Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today. Both use the new Woodland Critters, Grass Frames dies, and the It's Cloudy 6x9 stencil, all released today from Whimsy Stamps.
For my first card, I started with a white piece of card stock and used the new It's Cloudy stencil to add in my clouds with some light blue ink. I stamped a few of the images from the Woodland Critters set directly onto the background and then colored them in with my Copic markers. I die cut the largest frame from the new Grass Frames die and added three layers of a grassy border by offsetting pieces of the frame.
I added my panel to a white notecard with foam tape and then stamped the sentiment which is from the Spring Birds stamp set. I then decided my card needed just a bit more so I added some die cut mushrooms from the Build a Fairy Garden die set. I die cut them from white card stock and then did some simple Copic coloring. I love the addition of these to the card and the pop of red.
I finished off the card by adding some black glaze pen to the eyes of the critters and to the spots on the deer.
For my second card, I started with a panel of blue card stock and used the It's Cloudy stencil and some white pigment ink to create my clouds. I then die cut the large frame from the Grass Frames die set two times out of different shades of green card stock. These frames are A2 size but I wanted a white border on my card. So my card base is slightly bigger than an A2 card size and will need a larger envelope.
I added the cloudy background to the white notecard and then added my frames, offsetting them. I then got to work on my stamping and coloring. I stamped out several of the images from the new Woodland Critters set and colored them in with my Copic markers. I cut them out using my Scan n' Cut and then added them to my card. I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment from the same set.
Here is some inspiration from the rest of the team.
Thanks so much for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

These are so sweet, Alanna. The first card definitely gives me Bambi and Thumper vibes. :) The background looks amazing and your coloring is wonderful. The second card is adorable. I like how you colored the birds. Well done on both! Crafty hugs!
