3 Slimline Rainbow Cards

Tuesday, February 1, 2022

Hi friends and happy February 1st! I can't believe the month of January is gone. Well the 1st of the month means that there's a new release at Whimsy Stamps and it is a fun one.

I have a trio of slimline cards made with the most fun papers ever - the Slimline Rainbow Magic paper collection. You get 15 designs, 2 of each, for a total of 30 sheets.

For this set of cards, I started by trimming three of the patterns down and added them to slimline black card bases. They measure 8.5x3.5 inches. I then took the Rainbow Words Border die set and die cut it with some white card stock. The die doesn't cut as long as I needed it so I used my scissors to follow the curve. I added this to my card bases and then took the Alphabet Mini stamp set and stamped the you are my portion of the sentiment.

I decided the white portion of the die cuts needed something so I took out another alphabet set, this time the AlFaDoodles set and stamped Love You. I then stamped the squiggly line to the left of it with an image from the FaDoodles set. I finished off the cards by stamping a cluster of stars. It is from the Shine Bright stamp set.

Here is some inspiration from the rest of the team.

I hope you've enjoyed my cards today. I'll be back later in the week with another set of cards using the Slimline Rainbow Magic papers. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
