2 Green and Gold Cards

Monday, February 7, 2022

Hi friends. I'm back today with two cards featuring products from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps.

For my first card, I made a shaker card. I started by creating the shaker by using the largest die from the Shaker Maker Rectangle die set. I then used the St. Patrick's Day confetti mix from This Calls for Confetti, available only at Whimsy Stamps. I then stamped and cut out one of the images from the A Million Wishes stamp set. I added on top of my shaker card. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set, trimmed it up, and added it to the front of the card as well and that completes my first card.

For my second card, I started by die cutting the largest die from the Shaker Maker Rectangle die set with gold foil card stock. I then die cut the die again but this time from green card stock. I then stamped the fun leprechaun image from the new St. Paddy Shenanigans stamp set onto the center portion that the die cut left. I stamped the sentiment into the pot and then added some gold confetti I had from my stash to mimic gold coins.

I trimmed down a piece of black card stock so it was just slightly smaller than my A2 card base. I added the gold frame and then inlaid the green center stamped portion and that completes this card.

Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be back again tomorrow with more card inspiration. Until then, crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
