2 Fruity Cards

Tuesday, February 15, 2022

Hi friends and welcome back! I have two cards to share with you today using products from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps.

For my first card, I started by stamping the Checkerboard Doodles Background stamp with black ink onto white card stock. I trimmed it down and added it to a red piece of card stock which I then adhered to an A2 white card base.

I stamped the strawberry image from the new Berry Sweet stamp set and colored it in. I then die cut it using a die from the Nested Hexagon die set. I stamped a sentiment from the same set. I die cut two more of the hexagons to add behind the stamped panel for some added dimension.

I finished off the card by adding in some green enamel dots.

For my second card, I made a shaker card using the new Fruity Background stamp. I started by stamping the Fruity Background stamp in black ink onto white card stock. I then die cut it using the largest die from the Shaker Maker Rectangle die set. I added some coloring to a few of the fruits on the perimeter. I added foam tape to the outer portion and added acetate to create my shaker. I used the  Freshly Picked - Strawberry mix from This Calls for Confetti as my shaker bits. I finished off the card by embossing a sentiment from the Berry Sweet stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have an amazing day. Crafty hugs! ~Alanna
