Whimsy Stamps Inspiration - 2 Cards

Monday, January 24, 2022

Hi friends. I'm happy to be sharing two quick and easy cards with you today using the new Elephantastic Elephants from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps.

For my first card, I started by die cutting the Swiss Dots A2 die from white card stock and then two of the patterned papers from the new Mix n Match 1 paper collection. I trimmed a piece of white card stock down to match the size of the Swiss Dots A2 die and then added the white die cut panel. I inlaid the circles with the patterned papers.

I stamped two of the elephants from the Elephantastic Elephants set and then trimmed them out. I didn't add any color except to the bottoms of their feet. I heat embossed two of the sentiments from the same set onto black card stock and then adhered everything with foam tape to my card panel.

For my second card, I stamped one of the elephants along with the heart balloon onto a piece of patterned paper from the Blurry Flurries paper collection. I used a pen to draw in a line between the elephant's trunk and the balloon. I also added a line to ground the elephant. I stamped my sentiments and then die cut this panel using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set. I added that panel onto some black card stock and then added everything to a white A2 card base.

These are adorable, Alanna. I like how you did the background on the first card. Gingham for the win! The elephant images are so cute. Great job on these cards. Stay safe today! Crafty hugs!
